candlesticks and wood candleholders. Woven placemats and red striped linen napkins were used. Kara chose a single cutting of pine with a small red ornament at each place setting for a special touch. The dinnerware is a mix of simple white dinner and salad plates with “T’was the Night Before Christmas” vintage appetizer plates stacked on top. NEW YEAR’S EVE GLAM Like with her Christmas table, Kara used a garland for her New Year’s centerpiece with mixed greens worked in. She added neutral and white mercury glass ornaments and miniature twinkle lights. Kara used vintage brass candleholders and ivory candlesticks. White plates, woven placemats with a fringe edge and creamy colored napkins allowed the gold toned velvet ribbon ties to stand out.
