With the help of Amy Leferink and her team at Interior Impressions, this primary bathroom was transformed into a modern lakeside dream.
Located on Forest Lake, MN, Leferink’s goal was to incorporate various nature-inspired elements into the bathroom to make it feel like an extension of the outdoors.
A few things were on the homeowners’ wish list going into the project: more vanity space, an open layout, a private toilet area, and more natural light. As a result, Leferink and her team had to give this unfunctional space a complete makeover.
In order to give this space the maximum square footage, Leferink got rid of the bathtub and expanded the shower into a spa-like walk-in – inarguably the star of the room.
The team achieved a modern, organic look for the space by using muted earth tones and natural-looking materials.
The black walnut wooden cabinets and custom-built vanities are prime examples of the team’s ability to bring the outdoors inside.
Other noteworthy features include Carrara marble countertops and an architectural wood panel from The Tile Shop.
