Put scrapbook stickers and gift-wrap supplies to different use with this charming mix-and-match take on the traditional Christmas advent calendar. We took a divided tray with 24 compartments from Michael’s craft supply store and gave it a quick paint treatment using Annie Sloan chalk paint in Duck Egg Blue.
To make the calendar, using a combination of spice tins, small craft boxes and jewelry-size gift boxes, fill each compartment. The boxes can hold little treats, sweets or sentimental wishes. Number each box with scrapbooking numbers, and soon you’ll be counting down the days in a delightful way.
